Science communication & Research; Gender Studies

Started my journey in science communication with Dr. John Cook at George Mason University, USA, in a misinformation-based learning project.
Designed a project about communicating climate change using folk art and produced a video and a docu-film in my native language.
Collaborated with Dr. V. V. Binoy, Assistant Professor, National Institute of Advanced Studies, India, on science communication issues in India and learning about gender and age-based impact on water-information communication.
I am developing and managing two awareness cum communication campaigns: debunking heath-based misinformation and communicating sexual offenses and sex education through social media. In these projects, I am managing a group of diverse and enthusiastic experts from different fields.
Since 2022, I have been conducting the webinar series "Climate Dialogues: Way Forward" through Zoom and Facebook Live in collaboration with climate scientists and an NGO.
I also worked and studied with Gender trainers in the Republic of Korea.

Research in Atmospheric sciences

I have 10 years of experience of working on the Indian summer monsoon prediction. During my research, I handled large climate data and worked in high-performance computing system.
The goal of my PhD research was to develop a Self-Organizing Map based prediction system and a multi-model ensemble forecasting system for the probabilistic extended range prediction of Indian summer monsoon 15-20 days in advance. During my PhD and Postdoctoral research, I developed the necessary traits of percept and organizational ability to work in a group in a co-operative fashion, mandatory in any field of work.
